We built a new house and closed 30 March 2021... The house we sold (in May 2021), we bought in May 2017 for $138k. Sold it last year for $220k. Paid $348k for the new house and it's worth well over $400k now. Haven't even been here a year. Absolutely INSANE market. I'm waiting for the bubble to pop so, can buy a cheap condo on the Gulf.

LOL, we will. My inlaws live less than a mile from us and have a storm shelter. I'm sending the girls there. I'm gonna ride this bish out like LT. Dan as long as I can. We are fortunate that the super cells tend to split and go 20 miles north of our place and 20 miles south. All it takes is one though.

lol, they go off of what they paid out last year and then divide by 12, the only reason why im getting some back is the title company over estimated the reserve at closing which isn't a bad thing. The state of PA actually holds my mortgage, first time buyer program at a 2.375% interest rate

my BIL when they got their house, their title company grossly underestimated and after a year their escrow doubled.

I think I was about 250k into mine as of 2016 and now it is over 310k as is. They aren't making any new riverfront property though so we are just going to add on. Lol

We paid just under $300K at the end of 2012, and Zillow says it's now worth $582,000 - $676,000?????
That can't be accurate.

If Zillow was right I could be a homeless millionaire.
Paid a bit over 200K in 2009. Might get 350K now. Zillow sais 950 - 989K. They are crazy.
And I would still need a place to live

So,
I bought a hood strut from Amazon for a chevy traverse for one of the kids cars.
It is supposed to weigh ~1 lb. Ship by UPS. box should be 2"x2" x 18"
It was delivered today. My wife complained that I didn't warn her about heavy delivery today and had Fedex driver bring it in house.
It even has a heavy item sticker on it.
I told her to send me a picture.

I wonder what I really got?
Hopefully something worth more that a $27 hood strut.
I'll see later when i get home.
I wonder who got the hood strut?

When I did the spark plugs on my 'Yota, I also put new boots on the coils. I got my little JT600 out, and although it couldn't see the live data, it was able to read the monitors. I found that cylinder 3 was the culprit. And.... when I did the boots, I remembered seeing one that looked like a dog bit a hole in it. But, I went about my merry way and threw it in. Guess what cylinder 3 had?

And, here's a pic of the little JT600 pulling through for me. BTW, that 65535 threshold would have taken 20 years to achieve.

Well, Sorry for the letdown but,
Wife thought it was something for me so had Fedex dude bring it in the house then sent me a pic complained that I should not have delivered something so big when I'm not there.
After I asked her about the size she sent me a pic. She was messing with me. She new what is was the entire time.
Fedex dropped it off at wrong house. Right house is many miles away. She called them after I said that wasn't my part and she looked at the delivery address.
She already called and they will pick it up tomorrow. She messed with me after that.
It is a queen size bedframe.
