EDIT: Here's a screen shot from a video I took of a paraglider on 7/01/21 and the fence is around that building - looking towards the lake here. It's DAMN dry right now.

I need to go dig out, slept in. Shouldn't of tossed the old ice skates. Not sure what's thicker out there, the snow or the ice underneath (?).
Fortunately, the water went down quite a bit and quickly before freezing. But it's like black ice beneath the snow, it's clear, you can see everything in frozen in stasis.
You currently have to walk about a 1/2 mile past this building to get to the water right now. The flood destroyed a lot of the decor inside.

That's terrible man. The vid, - quite different ehh, no shortage in 84. Hell, you guys had waves cresting in the streets back then. It didn't get quite that devastating. Houses/buildings were alright from the first floor up. Some basements, allot of basements flooded in certain areas with sub-pare drainage and/or inadequate sump systems. It's pored rain here for days on end in the past without much repercussion. Think it got up to 54* yesterday after a month or two of sub freezing temps. Melting snow and a hard frost underneath made huge difference, and there couldn't of been more than 6" of that. All that water was looking for a place to go, could of easily been much worse I expect.
I remember as a kid in 84, going up and looking at a couple of streets that the city turned into rivers just to get the water a place to go. Wonder if there's any video of that.....
EDIT: I might be off a year. This says 1983.... my bad. I was only 7, LOL
I ran into a new code I'd never had the pleasure/displeasure to find before on my Edge. P019B. Air coming in around the air box.
I opened the hood, remembered it has a K&N CAI on it. It had just been serviced at the local Subaru dealer (where the PO worked), and found the air filter dropped off the mount and was doing nothing. The MAF was visible and with the snow, it was getting moisture on the sensor. The damned car would shut down (misfire) every time the snow came up under the hood.
I took it out and cleaned it up and reinstalled it. No more codes, no misfires, no bucking. I ordered an oem air filter assy yesterday and it's been shipped. While I like a CAI on the Mustang, I'm no fan of it on a family car. It's louder than oem, but it does sound good, but a bit louder than should in an SUV. IMO. Without the sound silencer, it's louder than it should be, that's for sure.
