Just to follow up... my HS Buddy texted me tonight that they caught this jackass. Hope he never sees light again.

Yea, maybe it's because you have a channel. I looked for it though, interested in seeing how the banana turned out, more pics anyway. They'll be posting it up soon I expect.

Trying to get back into posting one video a week. I'm going through a bunch I started to do in the summer and didn't get back to. It's a pain trying to piece it all together months later.

Depending on what is going on tomorrow, I may run and get door moldings from my friend.... and have a look at his 351 twin turbo Fox with a 6R80.

Your channel is the only one that doesn't inform when you put up a new vid. I have to check it, usually late to the party by then lol.

I got the rest of my air stuff put up today. Nowhere near as good as yours, Brew. But it is way better than what I've had. I have it sitting at about 120 psi right now checking for leaks. I used fuel injection clamps on all of it... I like them a lot better than worm clamps.

Looks good! I have a set of there fuel injection clamps somewhere, - used them last for the 98's fuel system, perhaps the trailer...one of those things. Can't use them on the air system other than drain lines. It's 175 psi, they wouldn't hold very long. Have to use ferrules for that system. A quick link, the first that came up about ferrules, -

https://www.quickcable.com/products.php?pageId=71

I use a different crimper, a Milton crimper or my hydraulic... it does battery cable and pressure washer hose (same as hydraulic) as well.

Also, there's ONLY one product that keeps fittings leak free, - and that's 567, -

Amazon Amazon

I fought leaks all the time 15 or 20 years ago before I was let in on that little secret. And it was a secret that most kept to themselves.... jerks!
Anyway it's anaerobic sealant, prevent threads scaling, doesn't harden, remains lubricated in place and most of all , the joint won't leak....not even a little.

If you have trouble with those clamps, the Milton crimper is only about 100 bucks, ferrules are cheap as well. The trick with ferrules is finding the perfect size needed. Air hose outside diameters varies a lot between manufacturers.

One of these days I want a better crimper for battery cables, clamps, etc.
