Well, I like basics. What you are doing ought to be adequate. Sounds like an old battery, more than beleagured. A DVM reading at different times of the day might be interesting. Even if you don't buy a battery from OReilly's, they'll pay you for the carcass. Do try to get a "truck/van" battery, not a car battery.

any problems with the Ranger ?
looks god, how's the underbody ?
4 or 6 cylinder ?
DJ fllmn I replied to your post in the coolant thread. You got me worried about RA now...
Can you read my post and let me know what you think ?
Will I be ok with the Fuel pump off RA ?
I cross referenced the VIN with the ford dealership and they are identical but RA sells it for half the price !
What now, RA won't send the pump I chose as advertised on their forum ?

It's a 4cylinder. Only 57.5k miles. Underside you can eat off of. I've known this truck it's whole life

Very Nice !

Ppl would love your little truck in my area....
4 cylinder trucks like that are rare and everyone wants them !
Don't show it off in public. My word of advice.

oh it's going to be shown. I have it registered for a few shows already. I've already put close to 200 miles on it in a week. My F150 is parked for the most part. I drove it today

I'm rather enjoying not caring about the paint so much on this truck. It's like "oh look, a scratch" instead of "OH NO, A SCRATCH!!!"

This was my last daily driver:

Nice Stang!

You can do one better on the truck though....find one that's the color of dirt. It's easier on the soap.
