You can hear it as it comes to a stop IF your windows are down and your truck is already stock quiet.
Yep, 1st time I encountered them in person I was detailing someone's bike.
Took a couple turns of the wheel looking for the noise to figure it out. lol
My daughter was worried about the sound, but as you say - the windows needs to be down, no radio.... which is a rare occurrence for us. And even then - it's not bad.
It's a 9561 so stock it was 435hp. It advertised as built with over 500hp but I won't know for sure until it's ever on a Dyno. The guy I'm buying it from didn't build it, his father in law did so details are slim. It's not a actual copo car but the engine is.
My Dad had his heart set on a 69 Nova SS when he was in high school. He went to the dealer (a family friend) with my Grandpa. When my Grandpa saw how much horsepower the Nova had (350hp?), he made my Dad get a Camaro with a 307 instead.
While I like Nova's, that 69 Camaro is one damn sexy car. IMO, the best looking car GM ever made.
EDIT: Said 69 Camaro:
They obviously didn't have the luxury of looking to see how good the picture was afterwards, like we do now.
