New gate pickets this weekend, because Duncan went over the old one twice. First he went over the fence, so I added the tacked-on top rails. Then the gate was the weakest link, as it only extended a few inches above the frame. Hope fully this will work. 🤞 The old gate had pickets all the same height, but I decided to go fancy with the curve. I kinda like it.
What's everyone else's rule on how long is too long to leave the outdoor lights up/on? I'm thinking this weekend is it.

Noobs, I believe the Harley (EDIT: and Heitage) trucks came with black interior as well, but yeah, finding that would be needle-in-a-haystack time, too. Black would look magnifiqe in my DSG truck, and I considered a change when I found an entire interior available for $600, but it was a long drive away, not to mention there was nothing wrong with mine, and the swap is pretty involved. I've never used the SEM dyes, but have heard they can hold up if panels are prepped correctly.

3 tree's, Santa might of figured you as greedy lol.
I don't know Ohio, I know of one couple that keeps there lights up all year and has them on around their deck in the summer. Yea tacky, but that's the way they like it. There's much cooler ways to light up a deck imo. Gate looks cool, -is your tree farm still illuminated?
Mine is still up, hasn't been on for a week or so.... time to come down I guess. No lights outside though, - low profile this season.
Thanks for the nice comments, guys I'm happy with the gate results.
I clicked the "tree farm" lights off last night. I'm thinking it's time. Maybe the lack of snow and the 50° (!?) we're supposed to have later this week is helping fuel that feeling. It's 6° right now, though, so who knows.

That correctly prepped part may be the difficult part as the factory tan will need to completely come off as it is flaking pretty badly now.
The headliner went from no cracks to looking like a racoon wanted to exit the truck through the roof in less than a week. It's still sticking to the cardboard but looks like hell. I'm thinking about replacing that with black but then I would need to redo the entire truck.
No matter how much I clean it the tan looks grungy, and the flaking dash doesn't look much better. There is a black dash in this sites marketplace but as the user hasn't been here since 2017 and doesn't answer DMs, I assume they are long gone.
Would need a bit of SEM 49143 and adhesion promoter.
Yeah, I'll probably just replace the headliner with tan and live with the flaking dash.
