I looked briefly, and it seems that the dish is aluminum, and the LNB bracket is steel. The feed horn should be recycled as electronic waste. Might have to disassemble this one before I take it down there.
2100, now that is awesome! You may have said before but my attendance has been spotty as of late, but what engine is going back in this thing? And why do you want it to be the 7.3 gasser? Lol
I would love that lol (my current truck is the new 7.3 and I definitely love it). Maybe in a few years when they start showing up in junkyards Ill buy a second project truck and swap that into one.... then I can get a third and swap a 7.3 powerstroke so i can have 7.3 twins... fraternal of course, not identical LOL
But no the plan is to eventually upgrade my 360 to a 390 but thatll be a project in a few years, for now Its staying stock so I can toss it back in and hopefully drive this thing sooner rather than later!

Great job.
Thanks it can get kinda long lol but I wanted to make sure I documented everything I did to this truck! That way when im old I can look bad and remember. The first few pages and the last 10 pages would probably be enough to keep anyone updated.
Now for opinions though... do I keep the transmission and transfer case in its factory red oxide primer that i just painted it or do I go back and top coat it with a blue to match the truck?
I think you will need more protection than primer.
I would paint it blue but if you want to keep it red you can use a clear matt finish coat to help stop corrosion.
I keep refreshing the YT, waiting for some more Golden Nugget footage, LOL.
MORR usually comes up at 7am MST and Fab Rats about 15 minutes later.
Checked the tracking on the VR/Brush setup that I have on the way. It says it's in West Valley, which is a really strange stop for it to be. Typically it would arrive at the big facility in SLC and get dispersed from there. The West Valley post office is not really a "central" post office. I wonder if this is part of the new changes?
Good morning thinkers!! Hope you fellers have a great day!- Man, thats a beauty of a transfer case! But, yes, coat it with something!- primer is not moisture resistant.
Busy, busy again today!- gotta run! TTYL!!
I hope everyone is doing great out there today. I hope yall can help me solve this with yalls cumulative knowledge of 9.75 rear ends.
My rear brake calipers are rattling like they no longer want to be a part of my truck anymore. I'm assuming the pads are wrong or my calipers are just shot somehow because the 10mm backing bolts are tight.
Let me know what yall think if you have a minute. Caliper Video
So I wanted to throw an update up just for fun. I decided to try new pads and slides first just to see if the easy fix was the correct one and for once it worked! The slides the old pads were riding on looked like they have never been changed. So with the new Napa gold semi metallics and new hardware everything is right with the world again.
2100, I know you would rather drive it and I hope one day you get a chance to do a 7.3 swap project. That would be my dream build in a 78 or 79 Bronco.
Alright... so neither was about Ed's LJ. I did scope out some interesting numbers though. I personally consider Vice Grip Garage to be the channel that set the bar for automotive on YT. Look at these numbers:
Yeah,
That Matt must have made at least $10 or maybe even $15 from Google by now.
I was looking at a camping video (corporals corner I believe, 95,000,000 views) and he referred to his website. It had a blog. He said that he only made a couple hundred from Google. Way, way more from his Amazon Store page.
If I wasn't so lazy I would go look up the blog thing.
