I hate the sound of wet grass getting cut. Poor mower sounds like the deck is going to break. But you know me... I'm not a quitter, so I keep on mowing.

EDIT: My Buddy that bought the 92 GT has already been fixing things on it. He sent me a video last night showing me some stuff he'd found. He's a go getter... I'm excited to see where it ends up. I already saw an issue that I think he'll need to clear up. Someone put heads on it (GT40P) and they put the engine harness ground on the bottom right head bolt - and it should be on the back of the head, away from the exhaust. I better remind him.

My Wife and kids are all still sick.... I really hope I can steer clear of this. I can't get sick yet.

Hope they get to feeling better soon. Sounds like good reason to spend time in the garage away from all the bugs.

LOL, AK - how cold is an outhouse up there?
Luckily my Igloo has indoor plumbing. Running around 40-45 so far this week.

Thank you, and I agree. I might need to go out there and fire up the heater tonight. It's only 45 degrees right now... probably dip another 5 degrees by the time I get out there.

72 right now, but playing with the 30's a few nights this week. 70's tomorrow, after that they disappear.

With R13 in the walls and above the metal ceiling, and foil-faced Styrofoam on the door, my garage can stay fairly warm. I can get the temp up pretty quickly with just my 30,000 BTU heater, and only need to run it to keep it above freezing when we have single digits for a few nights in a row.

Sounds like your using polystyrene Ohio. You could go one better providing an air gap with coroplast then adding an additional layer. The air gap really bumps the R's up. You make like a high heat retention sandwich lol. You have to use the correct polystyrene for the application tho. I think there's 3 different types.

The door itself is insulated as well. The stuff I used is a high-density foam board, and the reflective properties are probably having as much of an effect as the R value.

The reflective also can work as a vapor barrier.

I was looking at a door insulation kit that HD sells. Does it do much, Ohio? Might do it if it does. Seems like it was pretty cheap too... under 50 bucks I think.

Our dishwasher has been leaking from three places. The side inlet was leaking, and both the door outer and lower seals were leaking. I already fixed the inlet and outer door seal, and the bottom came today. Well the cross reference that I looked at to the new P/N was wrong. Took the whole mother sucker apart, and it wasn't the right seal. I made some modifications whilst in there though. Maytag used these little 3/16" head bolts with a lip right in the way of using a ratchet. I had to take the whole suckin' door off the hinges (which is an absolute blast to put back together, I might add) to get the seal out. I went over to the Cal Ranch and got some #6 X 3/8" machine screws to make it so I can pull it apart easier when the correct piece gets here.

I think the heat put off by the sanitize cycle is very hard on the plastic and rubber parts in this dishwasher. It gets so hot in that cycle. The door seal is leaking because it's warped. The side inlet was leaking because the seal was loose, and the outer seal was warped as well. I also just had to replace the plastic wheels on the racks.

Anyway, that story was me trying to say that I didn't get out to the garage tonight. It's now past 8 pm, and I don't want to get out there and start messing with Bondo this late. Dammit.
