I was extra nervous about that wind storm... it was the first real wind with the new roof. That tree crashing on it really pisses me off the more I dwell on it.
Also, speaking of the roof - I did poke my head up in the attic during the wind, just making sure I didn't see anything up there that took damage from the hit. Let's just say those ridge vents allow A LOT more ventilation.
How big was the tree?
What is the roof pitch?
If that roof had a couple good sunny days after install it is fairly difficult to mess them up without breaking the plywood under them. Shingles are pretty tough for many years after install.
Go up and look at them.
Of course, around here we have to install 150 MPH rated shingles so it may be a different product or install method.
Edit: I went and looked up stuff. All shingles sold here meet ASTM D7158, Class H, 150 mph. and must have extra nails.
Still, Either ease your mind or find if they did get damaged, go up and look.
Edit 2: Looked up more stuff.
My shingle = https://www.gaf.com/en-us/roofing-pr...specifications It meets the 150 MPH tests but the wind warranty is for 80 MPH. How do they enforce this. Imagine the mfg dude saying he was going to not cover them because the wind speed was 81 MPH. How would they prove it and how would you prove it was 79 MPH? I mean, if the storm has 100 MPH wind, well that ain't close.

I remember back in 1999, my Friend's Dad had gone out to Wendover NV to hit the casinos. On the way home he got in a wind storm like this, and the sand literally sand blasted the side of his brand new Plymouth Acclaim. It almost got totaled because of it. Broke out the passenger side windows too. He was so scared to stop and get slammed by other vehicles, he just muscled through it. I wish I had pics of that thing... it was messed up bad!
He must have really loved gambling... I mean to buy a Plymouth Acclaim
These are the parts of the tree that fell on my roof... A good 10 foot drop, and I bet that these are 12 feet long. In fact, I'm going to throw it all in their back yard. I'm tired of filling my garbage cans with their trees. I want to say the bottom girth is 6 to 8 inches. It made quite a sound when it hit.
Latest pic that I have of said tree - two weeks ago while they were replacing the roof.
BTW... my basketball hoop base is full of water, then it has another 100 pounds of sand on top of it. My Wife thought I was nuts when I put those on there - but guess which hoop was the only one standing yesterday?

Tree branches of that size, if landing horizontal, on the roof should do little damage. A vertical landing may need a couple new shingles.
Only way to know is to go up and look.
Did the roofers leave you any extra shingles?
It is hard to tell from a pic but that roof looks like no more that a 6 pitch. Easy to walk on and check for damage.
LOL... that dish actually left with them. I don't have or want Dish/Direct TV (don't know what it was) and one of the guys was all excited when I told him they could have it.
Not too sure whose croc that is... but it does appear to be tuned to it.
I have a DirecTV dish that I took down shortly after moving in. I've put it on CL and FBMP several times for free, and no bites. I'm surprised. I figured *somebody* would want to toy with it.
I assume it's aluminum(?), so maybe I'll take it to the scrap place along with the F150 hoods and radiator I can't seem to unload, either.

He took the LNB's off of it and put those in the truck.... then threw the metal in with the old shingles. I thought it was weird, but whatever, lol.
