It was hella windy here in CO today. At one point I had 38 MPH sustained with gusts to 50. (I was told Denver was seeing 60 and 80 MPH.) Patio furniture was redistributed, the trash can got blown around and the UPS package box was across the driveway. The smaller artificial trees in the yard needed some straightening as did the 1/2" rebar holding some of the larger ones. Santa took a header on the porch too. The power was out from about noon until 8 PM as well. I powered up the 5 KW generator to keep the house warm and lit as it started to get dark. I need to check the output voltage, however, as my APC UPS was showing 137 VAC input. I also want to investigate quieting the exhaust. It just has a standard stamped steel perforated "lawn-mower" muffler now, and is really loud.

Wow 60-80 mph winds is crazy. The wind is making it's way here, not to arrive until 4am this morning. They're saying 45 mph gusts at the moment. There's a fairly strong steady wind out there now, enough so,- it's triggering the security lights.....on and off , on and off.....repeat. I guess I need to fine tune the sensitivity a bit on those.

Lol, so your Santa took a soil sample Ohio ? Yea there's a Santa I can see out the window about 3 houses down.. Some other figures around him as well, I can't make out what those are. Maybe I'll get to see them take flight tomorrow lol.

8 hours w/no power would of been no fun.. Good deal you had that gen handy, even if it is sporting open headers...

this is techically my 3rd one, I had an 03 Splash FX4, my old 2019 FX4 Lariat and now this one. My new classic vehicle

I can remember the day my grandpa bought this truck and he told little 7 year old me, DJ one day this truck will be yours, and last saturday was that day. I would sooner sell my F150 before i sell the ranger

Ranger looks great.
Someone took very good care of it and it shows.
Obviously not in PA snow very often if at all.

I got a truck I would never sell also, so I know the feeling.
