I think that trans line piece is going to show up tomorrow. The 5 quart jug of Merc V already showed up. Suppose I better find my trans funnel or pick one up. Looks like Friday morning, - attempt to get her move again.
I hope she moves again! Unless it was ran really low and got hot, you're probably OK.
Yea, it wasn't hot when I got there, they were making short runs to town and back. Picking up some 2X's, between 5 and 10 minutes away. It wasn't far, nothing reading on the stick tho. Hope 5 quarts is enough....should be.
This .035 INE flux core is some pretty good wire. I used the Titanium .030 that came with the welder, and it eventually kept getting stuck. After 4 or 5 times having to stop and fix the roll, I made the switch. What an immediate difference.
The steel my Buddy have me worked out well. Didn't have any issues blowing through it. Just existing/thin metal. I'm a rookie... so it's not perfect.
I also tried out one of the new subs in The Eight Nine. Took out my MA Audio and threw in one of the Audio Legion's. I like them. I'm going to pick up a sheet of MDF and go over to my Buddy's house and get building - probably next weekend.
Not sure on the welding, are you going to fill that hole or something ? Looks like some healthy speakers
That's the back side of the panel I put in my hatch. I'd do it different now, but it is what it is. It's not going anywhere, LOL. EDIT: The hole is needed to mount the spoiler. It's 5/16" hole.
Any recommendations on welding goggles?
Oh, yeah... the subs are both decent. Neither are top of the line, but I listen to rock/metal for the most part. I'm not entering bass wars, LOL.
