Tomorrow will be a big day for Frankie. New hood, hatch, seat tracks, body panel piece between drivers door and rear tire, speaker grille covers, maybe some other stuffs too. Luckily a friend of mine has a couple parts cars.
It's one of those days.... woke up at 4am, like I usually do during the work week..... and couldn't go back to sleep. Too excited about getting these parts for Frankie! I also have a very big weekend here. Besides the aforementioned parts, the T5 may finally show up tomorrow. I've got a wheel bearing and brake job to do on my Brother's Edge tomorrow. He told me last night that he only bought pads though - so we'll see.
I am also sitting here thinking that although I need to rectify the unsafe seat mount job in Frankie, I really like that seats that are in it. So, my brain is trying to figure out how to make both work out - something the PO should have done. Then I think that my Labor Day car show might be cancelled. Can't find a listing for it.
I got my stuffs! That damn quarter panel was a huge PITA to cut out. It would have been a real chore to get all of it that I needed, so some bondo/fiberglass will be involved. I might just update to the 90+ seatbelts that don't have the release button in the door. In fact... I want to do that to both of them.
Damn... another police chase going through town this morning. Second police chase in 5 days. The first one didn't end well. This police chase happening right now had to pause so the suspects good stop and get gas. Apparently they won't go after anyone at a gas station because of the threats that could occur.
I put my seats from a 92 GT in Frankie yesterday. Also tried to clean the carpet.... it's better, but you can only polish a turd so much. It's still wet in this pic.
EDIT: Also had to weld the drivers side seat bracket. It was broken when we pulled it out of the parts car.

No link yet. They called off the chase because they know who the guy is. Then all the sudden they caught the guy, LOL. I was surprised they called it off because UHP brought out the helicopter. It was all being listened to here:
When the blue Loctite bottle spout is plugged up, do *not* squeeze the bottle really hard trying to clear it. That is all.
LOL. Haven't had that experience w/blue yet. I think the only bad experience I've had with the blue was with stainless steel bolts into aluminum threads. The bolts were shipped with the pre-applied version of the locker. With coarse threads,10mm and above, the bolts may slip in the chamber before achieving torque.
This occurred with the 98 after the first set of long tube headers rusted out. The second set/install was a success, but I had to pull all the stainless bolts, remove the locker/wire wheel them clean and clean/flush the head threads before the new bolts would achieve torque.
Anyway, first thought was GREAT, head threads were damaged. NOPE, it was thread locker gumming up the chambers.....it was a first. I would gladly take what happened to you over that time consuming crap lol.

Nice!
Well, your no longer a virgin, you welded on seat brackets. Now you can make any seats work with enough of that.
Well... it wasn't a pretty job, lol. It's pretty thin metal, and had about a 1/4 gap of missing material in one place. It's solid though, and that's what matters, LOL. I'll come up with something at some point. Right now I just need the seats to be mounted in the holes Ford intended.
