There must be something in the water around here. I sold our treadmill last weekend and ordered a hybrid elliptical machine - shorter stride with more vertical component like a stepper, with an upper-body workout portion, too. Everything I've been reading says HIIT sessions on this machine are one of the most efficient ways to get in shape for a lot if things. Doing better hiking (and just in daily life) is one of my main goals.

Dietary changes are a hard one for me to stick with (always have been), but I might be able to give up the daily Pepsi. I don't know about getting rid of it completely, though. It sure does go nice with pizza. - - Yeah, I know, I shouldn't be doing pizza either.

Just having Duncan now and making no other changes, I've lost a good five pounds and am on the next hole in my belts. I need to get some strength and endurance back, though. I've been sitting in the office chair WAY too much.

Might be due to to something else. There's a lot more chicken and fish in my diet now....and those damned veggies. Not a fan of most veggies...gag
I eat mostly beef and pork, but chicken and fish are in my diet as well. I was eating a lot of peanuts, but for the third time now, after eating peanuts for a couple months.... I've developed an ulcer type deal. Going to a Doc on April 9th, but in the meantime I am cutting out peanuts and peanut butter. It's almost like an allergic thing, which is weird to get at this point in my life.

Pepsi.... I like the taste, but both Pepsi and Diet Pepsi give me a gut ache. Since I was little too. If you remember TAB, that also did the same thing to me. All this talk just might make me get the bike out today. The weather is decent enough for a jaunt around the neighborhood.

Oh.... and I CAN NOT wait for this album to come out.

Yeah, one can has more sugar than the FDA recommended allowance. That and the acidic content can do a number on some people's stomachs. I really should cut the crap from my diet, as I've been diagnosed as "pre-diabetic" for years now, and I'm sure it's a factor.

EDIT: I like the bridge at about 3:18, but the rest of that gives me a headache.

Hmm, trying to figure this out. So 1 puppy is the equivalent of 1 Pepsi per day and a 1 Pizza night per week ? Would a carton of Oreo's wash totally out ? Hey , I'm serious here.

Adding strength training to cardio here. Simple stuff I can do with cardio...like say adding pushups and squats on the same day. Keeping exercise down to 3 days a week. Hoping to get a little strength back as well. I think I'll be able to stomach most of that without cheating too much lol.

I attempted to look for beef I can eat, so did the GF. It has to be "grass feed beef". For the life of me, I can't find that stuff. What kind do you get ?

I just get the "black angus" stuff... don't know what it was eating, lol.

So, the house across the street from me just sold... and I found out how much. $362,215 - Holy ****. My house is 415 more square feet. I paid $242,000 for mine almost 4 years ago.

Freakin' ridiculous!

Lol. Hey, don't laugh, that's how I reacted lol. It's suppose to be important in some way. Yea, grass fed means that cattle received a grass or forage diet their entire lives. It's labeled that way in large letters at grocer. Not in these parts though.
_________

Time to trade up for more land and shop footage. It's a sellers market for sure.

Well ****... just installed the airbag module, then went to install the passenger side airbag. Turns out that waaaay at the bottom of the listing that I purchased it from, it says it is for a Hybrid. Why Ford? Why did you not use the same airbag for gas and hybrid? Can't **** around anymore though, I'll have to hit the junk yard now.

It was 75 degrees here today! I took off work today to go help a buddy haul tree limbs. Since 9:30 I have been outside all day except for 30 minutes eating dinner. I’m getting ready to straighten up my tool boxes. Here lately It’s been taking longer than usual to find stuff so I know it’s time
