Thinking
I'm really liking Buck0 generator in a box.
I already have a Wen quiet generator that I used up there. If I used it at my house I would not hear it as even out in the outer suburbs / rural there is still a lot of background noise that we have all become accustomed to. Up in between the mountains, there is no background noise.
Already have the generator, buy some plywood and insulation for the box, aim the exhaust away from cabin....
And maybe use to charge up batteries so no run while sleep.
Abandoning the truck charging idea.
Thanks for the ideas.

Hope it works for you. I think there was some 2x4 bracing in there and the roof part extended out farther over the vent area than in the drawing I made to keep rain out. It's been many years since I saw it. Just make sure to keep plenty of distance around the exhaust so it doesn't get too hot.
Good morning thinkers!- hope you all had a great weekend- sorry for you fellers and your families that are diabetics- big bucks out of your pocket again- (but now you can build back better)-
Hope you guys have a safe day at your salt mine (while you still have one).
Catch ya later!

Top of the morning to you Bear, and the rest of you fellers.
Over the weekend my Buddy came in to town (he works out of town) and we went up and saw his Brother's shop. Talked a lot about cars.... and I might go to LS Fest with him in April. Yeah..., you read that right. A lot of Youtuber's are going that I follow. Figure it might be a good experience. I'd be open to working on an LS, BTW.... just in a GM or Chrysler vehicle, LOL.
