My Aunt and Uncle have a 93 40th Anniversary Corvette - I think it's got around 50K on it. This one is my Buddy's, and I think it's a 94. He just told me earlier today that he's building a 4L60E for it. I'll be honest, they aren't my cup of tea, but they are neat cars. We get a lot of guys trying to trade these for our Fox Body's on our local FB page. Maybe I'll trade Frankie for one, LOL.

SO we don't have snow here but the wildfires have left several of the people I work with, without power. A few homes have been lost, many more would have been but helicopters are dropping water to save what can be saved. Closed highways etc. means people are spending hours in detours to get to and form work. It's 90 degrees here which is near record for this time of year and very low humidity. I see this type of thing in California but not here in the Seattle area. We are usually wet by now but this year everything is tinder dry. Luckily my only problem is the smoke that has taken over the area, my lungs are not happy with it but at least my neighborhood is not in the fire path for now. This is a very weird year indeed. What's next, locusts?

Hey River, Is this what you were asking about? Warn Saturn OD

Or maybe it was a creeper drive?

Buck0, That's very similar. The obvious difference was it was an underdrive that effected all 3 gears and not just an overdrive. It was more like going from 4WH to 4WL. Also, I'm not sure what that pipe sticking out along the bottom is. It's not something I took out so that may be part of the manual shift linkage and from the underside it would have the more round appearance I remember. But yes, I think you may have found where it came from. How the hell did you come across this?

Missed the creeper but that's not quite it. The shift linkage was not like that. At least it wasn't so obvious as a shift linkage which has me believing it was more like the overdrive linkage.

Yes, this is an odd end to the summer season. Was in and out of Fort Lewis a couple of times. Stayed in a place called Parkland by a Lutheran College. I really like that area. I had access to a Kawasaki 350 and cruised Puwallop (name\sp?) Valley. Glad I missed what you're describing. No offense meant by that.

2020 hasn't been so 20/20, has it? I can't wait to get it in the rear view mirror. Can't wait for the damn elections to be over.

Of all of the damnedest things.... I finally figured out this friggin' noise tonight. I've been chasing it since I got it running. After replacing the dizzy, replacing the PCV, smoking the motor for vacuum leaks, swapping the dipstick.... the stupid noise was coming from the aftermarket (Holley) ignition coil the previous owner put on it. I had finally come to the conclusion that it must have been something inside the motor. I'm glad I kept at it, and didn't tear the poor thing apart for no reason.

Puyallup is close to where the fires are. Luckily for me I live north of Seattle and most of the fire is south. While this is no good for anyone, I'm glad I'm not California. They have it much worse. Many of our firefighters and resources went down there to help them and then we got our fires unexpectedly. One dumbass was arrested for facebook live streaming himself setting a fire in the median of one of our busier highways. What a complete asshat!

There is a video about half way down this page of a tree exploding with fire. I've never seen anything quite like it.
