Damn.... this is my route in the way to work. This is at the bottom of a temporary bridge that's a white knuckle SOB. just coming off the bridge, there is a big "jump" in the left lane that will surprise the hell out of you the first time you hit it. It has been this way for about 18 months, and I am quite surprised it has taken that long to have an accident on this thing. UHP has only mentioned one person being taken to the hospital... I'm betting there was at least one casualty. The Ford truck doesn't look too good.
I've been getting the full court press from a guy at work to sell him Frankie. My plan has been to sell it the whole time, but I wanted to paint it and make it more presentable to sell. He wants a full-on race car, and apparently he's got a crush on Frankie. LOL... not sure what to do.
Whitey, I guess that depends on how badly you want a project, and whether or not he's going to lowball you. I'd do the math: What's it going to cost you to finish it vs how much do you think you *might* get for it times your "project need" factor. Compare thst to what you could sell it for right now vs. what you have in it, and what you could buy for your next project with the profit.
LOL.... since I posted that, he asked me to bring it to work. It won't make it to work.... the tires are so bald on it.
I just got word that the guy that was driving that truck made it. He's pretty messed up.... a few broken bones, bruises, etc. Absolute miracle! The paramedics said the only part of the truck that was not destroyed was where he was sitting.... and then they destroyed that to get him out.
