I am REALLY trying to locate me a GoPro on the cheap....
Had to look up GoPro to see what it was. Never would have guessed. LOL Tool, scanner, tuner or whatever but never a camera.

Yeah... I'm kinda tired of holding the camera all the time, LOL. It kind of prevents me from doing some better content at times. I had a PM on FB asking if I had filmed the intake install... but I can't do that and hold the camera at the same time. I have the Akaso camera that I got on Amazon, but the video is NOT 4K as they advertised. My S10 takes waaaaaay better video. It looks really dumb bouncing back and forth from the S10 and the Akaso's poor quality.

The GoPro got 4K on version 4, and they are on version 8 right now. So I am hoping to find someone trying to unload their older version to buy a new one, LOL.

Have you tried Craigslist? This is around here:

https://annarbor.craigslist.org/ele/...170314393.html

https://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/p...174827855.html

Of course I have no idea of what's a good buy and what isn't. There's new, sealed in the box hero 7 Silvers for 230.

That's what I was thinking, just be sure to meet somewhere safe.
Our police station has a couple parking spots in front with cameras on them for E-commerce transactions.

Craigslist isn't really a thing here, but you do realize to whom you are talking to, right? LOL. I am constantly on our version of Craigslist (KSL) and FB Marketplace. That's how I find my stuff

This one here has gotten a little bit past my realm of wanting to help....

Yea, The friend of my dad's that I talk to once a week is always saying about vehicles, "Most problems with vehicles can be reduced to owners looking for an easier or softer way than what's needed when it comes to maintenance and repairs. Do it right the first time." This kid was obviously looking for the cheapest way out of his problem and kept digging his hole deeper and is now looking for a way to recover. He won't.

I only mentioned Craigslist because I know you usually talk about what you find on facebook. I've gotten so use to Craigslist I've missed a lot because I've almost forgotten about looking at the local trader magazines. I've been toying with the idea of making some kind of off road vehicle with my 4.2 sitting here. For a while now I'm been looking at CL for an old Bug chassis or something similar and there's been nothing worth buying. Picked up the local trader and there were a lot in there. More than I want to pay, but at least I know they are available.

This is where everyone in UT goes to sell stuff. In fact, it's pretty big in ID as well as some other surrounding states. It's a local news and radio station. They started it several years ago, and it just morphed into what it is today.... Not saying there isn't a CL for UT, just that it's not so big.

My aunt and uncle lived in rural Bethel, Vermont. They had a radio station there that was nothing but people calling in with want to sell, want to buy ads all day long. I had forgotten all about that.

KSRM Soldotna, KYUK Bethel both have those sale services every day still going on.

We used to have a nightly show on KHAR that was called Mukluk Telegraph. Before the internet this was how most of the people in the villages used to contact each other to the people of Anchorage and other areas. It finally went away after billboards started to flourish then of course the net itself blew up.

You know, I think I prefer a lot about those days. The only things I like about cell phones are no long distant charges and in emergencies.
