If Amazon finally gets the rest of the stuff here, the 98 will be drivable once again...before next weekend. Studded the new axles thus far, - that went quick....noisy as hell tho lol.

Started getting this thing ready for the new door. You may not believe this, but that was the first time I've ever removed a fender on a Fox. Ford's stupid radio antenna design.... you have to pull the antenna wire out in its entirety.

Same with the truck antennas.

Something is not right with that one.

Yeah, getting tired of the kids borrowing my vehicle. They quit cleaning up they're messes before they bring it back. Getting tired of that. So.... going to get the 98 going again. It's worth it ...for now anyway. Still bugs me though.

White, I feel I must let you know this in case you didn't notice.

I think you may need tires and an alignment.

In all seriousness though, it looks like you are well on you way to having another really nice car.

The PO told me he had just replaced the struts and shocks.... and I am guessing he went with the "just send it" option afterwards, LOL.

Well, the rest of the stuff came today about 2:00. I was there by three. It's still on jack stands but I got the ultra black down and the cover back on before I left.

The bearings didn't look bad surprisingly. Pass side axle was in good shape, the drivers side axle was toast. The bearing ate into it at least 1/16 of an inch, probably a little more, but yea, the bearing didn't look bad. I was expecting a little more carnage I guess.

Anyway, new axles and bearings....I'll fill up the rear end in the morning, - Permatex should be good and set by then.

LOL... I usually only wait an hour before dumping fluid back in.

Glad you got it all done, Brew! It's better now than in the winter.
