I would have, but they said they don't stock this one any more at my local store, though I think the person I spoke with may be wrong, as it shows "Free Pickup Today" on the web page. In any case, the price was the same, so I decided to go with Amazon, since I was ordering a bunch of other stuff (which, of course, is shipping one by one, by one). So again, I say...

Amazon is shipping out another one at no cost. (I wonder what that one will look like.) In the meantime, I'm questioning if this one is actually OK to use....


Not surprising, but what do they expect when they just drop it in a plastic bag for the trip?

I haven't had orders damaged during shipping in awhile. Since the pandemic, slow shipping (at first anyway and to be expected). What sucks the most is the mixed up orders, wrong stuff and going through the process all over again.... plus the added process dealing with a CSR and shipping it back. Not only from Amazons warehouses, but merchant stores as well who use the site. Yea, hope that gets back to normal soon.

Now if they did me like you in the past and sent me free stuff over and over again, it might be easier to live with....as long they didn't send me mystery seeds lol.

The Filter, - I wouldn't use it unless I new the inner workings a little better where damaged. Might be easier to purchase one from Walmert and use the box to return that one....if your consonance will let yuh lol.

 

I just ran into problems today with Lowes online shipments. I ordered a wireless camera system, and finally it arrived today, after sitting 4 days in Olive Branch MS. Anyways, the system is reboxed and missing 2 cameras and the control head. What a crock of ......; This is ridiculous. Then I sat on the phone waiting for CS and it took 47 minutes. Totally wrong if you ask me.

Still waiting to see what they say. Waiting on a call back right now. Never again from them. Their CS online sucks big time.

 

I just stopped at WM to get the FL1A and a filter for the TLX (since I'm doing the teams fluid tomorrow, and don't want to wait for the one from Amazon) and there were a half-dozen on the shelf. Best part? They were a little more than half the price of the one I bought on Amazon.

 

I think the FL1A's are 3.29 at Walmart here. FWIW, AK, HD's customer service has always been very good when I've had issues. As far as CS from all retail companies, I think Amazon has been the best I have dealt with. Made a lot of things right that weren't even their products.

It's been a nice few days in Idaho for me. Never thought I could live anywhere but UT or CO. But I think I could do ID now. Same shiddy drivers we have in UT. Can't use a turn signal if their lives depended on it.

Had an opportunity about 15 years ago to buy a couple acres from some friends in Blackfoot. Kinda wish I woulda now.

 

I've always used one brand of security cameras, Revo, and have had great luck with the brand. This is why I ordered that kind from Lowes.

After returrning it, I went to Amazon and went into their sales, and didn't really find anything I wanted for the money I wanted to spend. I did the search option up and down with different word combos but still nothing came up I wanted. I started looking at other set ups and low and behold, I found a perfect kit in the extras at the bottom. There was 1 left, with a 4.5 rating. It was on sale for 159, regular 249. I snatched it up, So with the savings from Lowes return, I also bought a new street lamp LED lamp, the curved hanger pole, and a Mevotech idler arm for Red, and saved $18 buying all this, vs the Lowes camera system alone. I think I'll play online poker tonight. lol

I was drving up to Sutton today to take apart my Expy 5.4 motor that's just been stored for the past 3 years. It got put on the stand a while ago, and the oil drained, but that's as far as anything went. Oh well, it wasn't necessary until now. I picked up that black SCab and it's up there right now. Time to swap in that engine after new bearings and o/p and chains. So, next week, I'll go back and pull the pan and covers and see exactly what I have. The engine is 103k, but had a slight rattle, so it was shelved.

 

Got a PM from Skyler the 2nd. Demanding fellow for sure ...

He's feeling bigger now I expect.
