If the IAT is leaking around the sensor hole in the Volant. If you clean the grommet with soap and water, dry, dip the grommet in MEK, install the grommet wet, install the sensor right away. The MEK will shrink the rubber around the sensor as it dries.

No problem. Found that in the Ford Service Manual years ago.

It's under mini-tube repair. Mini-tube refers to the emission harness. They call it "mini tube repair" for some reason (I didn't name it lol). Vac line test and repair procedure.

Might want to add a day for set backs. I did the manifolds in the 98 a couple months ago. Set backs add up. I have a stubborn manifold stud right at the very front pass side that never wants to come out. Buggard up the threads double nutting it, applying heat, attempting to extract it...it wouldn't budge. Choices were to cut it off , drill/tap or repair the threads. Went for repairing the threads. Partially filled the bad spot with weld, ran a die down it with Tap Magic to assist. Took 4 attempts to get the threads rebuilt in that spot.

Had to remove the oil dip-stick tube. Snapped the bolt with very little effort. Drilled and tap that. Got it tapped but broke the thing right when it bottomed out. It was loose in there, got it turn out luckily with a small pick. Slowly, a fraction of a turn at a time, but came out eventually.

The EGR tube didn't fit correctly. Had to position that in the vice perfectly then heat it and bend it just right. Got lucky there, first attempt was successful.

Yea , those were the set backs this time around.

May want to add another day for miscellaneous harassment Wolvee.

I can't believe how decent it really was.... it was just majorly neglected. Pretty sure it had a clogged PCV valve.
