Thank you Ohio. I've found the thickness available but only in selections like 3" x 10'. By the square yard? Nothing. The thickness isn't about weight. Has to do with loose, sharp objects.

I got to the DMV at 8:00 this morning, and I was the second person in line. I was back in my car at 8:15 with plates, registration, and a receipt for the title. About half of that time was the lady (she's actually my neighbor) getting on the phone with the SLC DMV to located the car in the old database.

So, it's game on pretty soon... just waiting on my valve spring shim kit from Trick Flow, oil pan, water pump, FPR, and then I'm going to make my own A/C delete.

Got some more stuff cleaned up, and painted the heads....

Then I did the Explorer to Mustang TB conversion. I just tacked the 4 corners, then got silly with the grinder... I don't know why I was thinking I needed to make it flat for cable clearance. After I was done, I realized that was not necessary. Oops.

You know White, if you keep going at this pace you're going to have to get another car real soon. Did you ever get that crater in your driveway fixed?

Hopefully some stuff arrives in the next two or three days. I really wanted to have it running this week.... or at least have the motor and trans back in the car.

I woke up to a whining blower motor on my furnace/AC this morning though. My friend is a shipping manager for a heating and AC supply store in SLC, so I am going to head over there and get one.... might put a damper on the car today though ;(

Noobie, thanks for posting that. Both my 3 tons and my 6 tons are on the new list. That's shiddy.

I received an email from HF this morning on the jack stand issue. I'll have to look at my 6-ton set tonight.

Same here, my 3T's are being used. My 6T's are at the kids house. 6T's were purchased around 2012, can't recall when I picked up the 3T's...I think I was still in high school lol.

No Harbor Freights near me, but if Tractor Supply or Southern States starts recalling stuff, that would concern me (and there would be a lot less stuff in the garage).

Ah come on!!! No one had anything to say about the dog post? My god, you go to a dog dealer, buy a puppy, wait 2 years to take the dog to the vet for the first and the first thing the vet does is call the cops. The vet than tells you didn't buy a dog two years previously, you bought a bear. Apparently the lady that bought it did have some questions like, why doesn't my dog ever bark? Why does my dog walk around on hind legs a lot? Why can I never feed this dog of mine enough? Why does my dog roar?
