LOL. . . .Maybe with some context I might understand what he's getting at but as it is I have no idea of what he's talking about. Well, I think I got this much although I think I've gotten this much; He was stealing, someone blonde snitched and he got caught. To him, stealing isn't a problem but snitching while blonde is. There was something about the snitch who's blonde, possibly being involved with or maybe in on some previous nefarious activities while being blonde. So yeah, I think he may be right and on to something. Dylan should get himself a red dog. Definitely not a blonde dog.

Got a message last night from a friend from my old house, and she said she found out yesterday she's got COVID. So, I had a rough night sleeping last night.... as she, unfortunately, is not in the best of health. I hope that she is able to recover from this.

Oh, and I suppose that's also why GM and Chrysler were still using TBI into the late 90's? They had it "perfected"?

Damn Whitey.....hope she is okay or gets better. My cousin in Washington lost a inlaw last week. She wasn't from my side of the family, but still she was sort of related to me, so that makes me think. Be safe everyone.

I assume this was from COVID, AK? This stuff is really weird... it seems like some people already have some pretty decent defense in their body's for it, while some people just get the living **** kicked out of them. The University of Utah is launching research in regards to mucus starting Monday, I believe. They actually believe that the type of mucus your body produces is the difference in how your body reacts, and also believe they can build up a defense in the mucus to stop the spread. It's unfortunate that it takes a scare like this for it to be researched, but we'll see how it goes!

My friend is in good spirits, and said mostly she has just felt tired. I haven't seen her in person for about a year, but the poor gal was on oxygen last I saw her. She and my Wife are really close, just hoping for the best!

This is not where I got some of the details that I read, but if you're at all interested in the U of U research, this is directly from their site - and I wish that they would have received more than a 200K grant:

White, sorry to hear it. When this thing has finally run it's course I think the people that this virus hasn't reached out and touched is going to be a small number. Fortunately as of now that number includes me. I'll join you and keep your friend in my thoughts also.

It's my granddaughter's senior year in high school and she's been upset that school has been closed for over 3 weeks now. She called this morning upset and crying because they are talking now about closing the school for the rest of the year. For the seniors there won't be a prom or graduation. She's been on cloud 9 since getting the full ride scholarship and that's now all been overshadowed with this news. Over time everything this virus has put us through will fade from our memories but the reality is we are all going to be changed forever.

""That's one of the many Eric O. sayings that has stuck with me. He's a character!""

Couldn't agree more and I like him too. My first impression is he can be trusted and expected to speak his mind. Anyone expecting something else from him is going to be disappointed.

My oldest caught the end of the dental era of the old mouth full of metal braces. Like all teens she hated them. We teased her about blinding us whenever she had a big smile or opened her mouth. I wish I'd had the "money light" thing to hang on the braces too.

''"Oh, and I suppose that's also why GM and Chrysler were still using TBI into the late 90's? They had it "perfected?"""

I couldn't believe he actually put that out there. A MAF works off of actual sensor readings of air, temperatures and pressures to match up with what's mapped in the PCM. Furthermore the PCM's operating parameters has a learn function and the maps have relearn abilities. AFAIK Chrysler makes up its own maps so they are what they want them to be while meeting EPA requirements. Efficiency is the least of their concerns. lol

I told you about working with Jim Thornton. After everything he and the Kamm brothers did to put Chrysler and Dodge on the map during the heyday of the muscle car era Chrysler removed them from their history when they left. The "Lil Red Truck" exists because of the 3 of them and they're nothing but a side note. I watched on Graveyard Carz a brief history of Chrysler, Dodge's muscle car era including The Lil Red Truck and none of them were mentioned once. In fact the truck was represented as a brainstorm idea from Chrysler management when Jim almost lost his job because of how aggressively Jim fought for them to support the building of the truck. This is the man that NHRA credits as being the inventor of the torque cancelling chassis and the Funny Car. Not only was he their chief engineer for performance and headed the performance department he was also the chief driver for Chrysler's in house racing team, The Ramchargers. More than 50 years later he still holds a lot of records. He was also the designer of their most iconic cars, The Daytona and Superbird. It's this kind of nonsense that led to him resigning from Chrysler. He was also pissed off about how Chrysler expected their engineers to embrace the animosity between the manufacturers that actually comes from the fans. Not the engineers. Most engineers get along well and are helping each other all the time. It hasn't been until recently that joint efforts between the manufacturers has become common knowledge but it's been going on for years everywhere except with Chrysler. Ford and GM actually have a long history of collaboration that no one ever heard about until the recent transmission work they've done together. The engineers are interested in solving problems. Not whose name is on a part. JMO but Chrysler is going to suck as long as they hold on to this nonsense. You would have thought Fiat would have changed this because of their long collaboration history. Hasn't happened though. Iacocca tried to change the culture when he bought Jeep but he couldn't change it either. Chrysler is their own worst enemy.

Yeah, I kid around a lot about GM, but when it boils right down to it, they would be choice number two for US made vehicles. Until I owned this Toyota, I would have said number two for all cars, but there's something about this Toyota that's piqued my interest. In fact, I don't think the new Tundra's are a bad looking truck..... much better looking than the new GM trucks, LOL. Agreed though, Chrysler has a really long history of hanging themselves. Collaboration is a good thing when it comes to engineering and vehicle safety. The 6F/6T's that GM and Ford did together are a good trans. Ford did a better job programming them, but it was a good collaboration!

I've never realized how often I touch my face in a day.... how many times I get an "itch", etc. Also didn't realize that if you just ignore it, usually it goes away, LOL.

LOL. I tested that the other night as well. The annoyance goes away, but remains in memory and becomes a convenience itch for a bit.... that eventually goes away too.

Grandson #1 needs to be collared and hit with a friendly jolt before his finger reaches the nose. Have to break that kid of that stuff. SMH

Get a squirt bottle and give him a shot when that finger starts inching closer. My 1st thought was cattle prod but I thought might just a bit harsh.
