I'm on the verge of writing a nasty review about the hot rod shop that worked on this Vette. Got tired of rubbing the paint, so I decided to look into the lighting. It only had 3 taillights and no front turn signals. But there are receipts for new front turn signals, shipping, and labor to install and wire them. There is also money billed as rear electrical work on the rear lighting.
I'll have to check and see how much money they charged to screw it up. lol
↨ Bad bulb and I had one in my stash.
↑ Something still doesn't look right. It had one inner and one outer turn signal.
↑ I switched the sockets, but it still didn't seem right. Under closer inspection I noticed the lower wattage element flashing in the other 2 taillights.
I switched the wires in the plug between the brake and taillight and now everything works like it should. I have 4 evenly lit taillights, 4 bright brake lights, and both lights flash on the side turning. ↑ Taillights
↑ Right turn signal
↑ Left turn signal.
↑ Brake lights.
Now I have to do it to the fronts, all brand-new stuff and someone wired them wrong. Turn signals are dim, and the running lights are so bright you can't see the turn signal element flash.
↑ You can see they had to disassemble the plug to fit the wires thru the hole. Obviously they mixed up the blue and purple wires. I am also wondering why the ground wire is taped off ? You never disconnect grounds on a fiberglass car.
I'll have to unplug it and pull it up and out to remove the pins from the plugs and put them back in the correct cavity. Tomorrow's project.
oh i was so pissed at myself this morning, thought the garage door went up a little harder than usual...thought thats weird....then i saw my tailgate handle.... I must not have had the truck in far enough and the interior release handle caught the top of the tail gate handle
I want to do a practice link... hope you guys don't mind. This video will be live in 36 minutes, and I want to see if placing a link ahead of time allows it to be accessible when it goes live.

It works but I wouldn't say I love it. It was tough on my wife's side because she's short and everything on her car is sloped away and she can't see the dot. It's better than the irritating routine of getting in and out to get it inch-perfect, though.

Tennis ball on a string would have been cheaper.
yea, i use the 360 cameras on my truck to tell when i am in far enough...except last night, i just listened to the sensors in the front bumper
