Turbos are where it's at, up here. I'll take fewer cylinder + turbo over NA any day of the week. I'd have an EB pickup if they weren't so outrageously expensive.
If I bought a brand new truck right now, I'd use 87. My truck doesn't care what's in it unless we are over 90 degrees outside, and my Toyota and Mustangs don't care either.... well, my 89 really likes Chevron though.
EDIT: And yes, same as you, Whitey. I run 85 in the F150, and usually 91 in the TLX, but if I have a half tank or more, sometimes I'll cheap out and mix in the lower octane stuff until the next fill-up with the good stuff.

Nope, it's tuned for 91 octane. No booster needed. I do run non-Ethanol fuel for what it's worth, mainly because the car sets so much, and the E10 stuff degrades faster (and also because it just generally sucks).
I went over and found mixing cups, pre-filters, acetone, and they even had Japan Drier on the shelf. Not too sure why it was there, but I already researched and found a better hardener that I already ordered. I asked the lady if they happened to have any sunburst yellow in stock. She looked and the inventory said they had a full case. She climbed all over the racks and couldn't find it. So, she put it at zero inventory, and that will trigger a re-order. Geez... now I need to figure out what I'm doing, LOL.
YT sent me a "congrats email" on views, subs, etc. LOL. I guess it's moving along. My 2011 Escape shift interlock video continues to hang right in there.
