Well, the new keypad came in handy. Somehow I timed things just right with my remote start and it's auto-lock feature and locked the keys in the truck with it running. A few taps, and I was in.

I've gotten no response to two inquiries to the alarm system manufacturer (I think they're going belly up), so I'm on my own if I want to try interfacing the keypad to it. I probably need to watch eBay for a spare remote and wire a couple small relays so the lock/unlock signals can just activate that.

I don't know if I ever posted this tool before, but I'll be getting one from Santa this year. Pretty good tool to have in the arsenal!

My choices here are DSL, point-to-point wireless, or satellite. DSL wins for the moment.
I am very happy with this router. Lots of lag issues were starting to appear, which are now gone.

I went over to watch the Broncos get their azz handed to them at my next door neighbors today (which was pretty rough because he's a KC fan). There's a pretty decent amount of space between our homes - enough that both of us could put up some pretty decent sized garages on our properties. Considering that I placed my Access Points right in the middle of my house, I was quite surprised to find that I had great WiFi over there.

Thanks AK but that's not it. I found this picture.
For anyone else, I'm trying to find out what the cantilevered assembly is called. It's not shown in the body chapters of the shop manuals.

Yeah... they tried selling at a discount, but nobody was buying it. Not sure why they didn't just give it away.

I don't drink, so it doesn't mean much to me.... but I know a lot of guys that woulda taken it for free, LOL

Rivers....pics are worth a 1000 words. The first numbers I gave you fit to the body half and these attach to those.

Inner panel reinforcement.

F75Z-16C274-AD RIGHT SIDE
F75Z-16C275-AD LEFT SIDE

Thanks AK. That these inner panel reinforcements attach to the side cowl panel from your first reply is good to know too. It's not something that stands out by looking at the truck. It's pretty much buried when it's all together on the truck. Your diagram also shows that the entire assembly isn't all one piece which I assumed it was. Really good info. Thanks for coming through once again.

Holy S4!t this Synology NAS is freaking awesome!

It comes with its own apps. I can run a webpage off it, mail server, make is a DNS server.... the list goes on and on. This thing might get a brother before too long.

Ohhhh.... and I can run my own music service off of it, or it also allows me to run internet radio through it on my DLAN devices.

These are the apps it comes with...
