Finally back to working on the project again. Quite a few parts on the way. Pulled the engine and Trans off the frame a week ago.

Just a proud grandpa here. My granddaughter received her first college acceptance letter last week and it was for a 4 year full free ride. Except for 2 B's straight A's saved her 130 grand. JP, she's waiting on Clemson to go with some of her old Rock Hill friends.

Man that would be a hard offer to pass up! I hope it works out and she gets everything she is hoping for. I know Clemson has changed a lot since I was there, but it is definitely still a great school. What is she interested in studying, if you dont mind me asking?

About the same time that I posted this, I was traveling in the slow lane on my way to work in the morning. This Dodge Magnum passed me and I heard all kinds of clicking coming from his car as he went by. One more car went right behind him, then I moved over to the fast lane (so two cars behind the Magnum). Right when I moved over I could see this big puff of what I thought was dirt/dust.... then all the sudden I caught up to the cloud and quickly realized that this cloud was either oil or trans fluid. It got all over my windshield, and I stupidly turned on the wipers and immediately figured out why that was a bad idea. The De-Icer by Prestone does do a decent job with oil after a few sprays and swipes with the wipers, but man was that a mess.....

And again, I was glad I don't own a Chrysler.

That said Whitey.....I was driving up the highway on Friday to go pick up some stuff, when I was passed by a 2008 + Duramax. I was driving right on the limit of 65, and he got pissed. He rolled coal for about 1/2 a mile when all of a sudden the black turned to white and blue. Oil everywhere on the roadway. He thru a rod thru the damn block it looked like. He had the hood up and was showing all likes of displeasure. Yeah, I stopped. I had to look. There was nothing but a big *** hole in the oil pan and a big piece of connecting rod showing. I left laughing to myself.

Snow started last night about 5 and hasn't stopped yet. I've got near ten inches so far and still dropping big flakes. This can stop anytime. I had my Mustang all cleaned off, and was ready to take it to the car wash. Damn weather changed again, now snow, then cold, then snow again, and then finally a thaw. Worst winter since 2011, but still nothing like the 60's. We'd still be digging out back then. LOL. Remember, this is heading south to the continental states. Hopefully it goes to rain or there will be a major dump again wherever it hits next.

JP, I don't mind you asking at all. Right now she's leaning towards early childhood development.

Wracking my brain, and Google searches have come up with a handful of nothing.

I did have Rock Auto send me one of their "Closeout's" that was listed for an F150, but was for a Crown Vic. Maybe that was what you're thinking? Rock Auto took it back, BTW.
