What you called left handed lucky strikes we called Mexican! lol

LSMFT, Lucky Strike means fine tobacco: Back in the day this would be sung in the TV commercials.

Salt Lake is starting to not be such a "hidden gem" anymore. The cost of living is going through the damn roof, but wages staying the same. Now we're starting to get all these TV shows here too... and this is the latest. "The Real Housewives of SLC". Seriously, the bottom is going to fall out soon... either wages gotta go up, or people will not be able to buy homes.

Device drivers can be hacked and used to load and run application software. Apparently a common practice of malicious hackers. What I read also went some in to how what was once software that operated more like typical OS firmware has become muddled or blurred and a boon to hackers with and because of the proliferation of Microsoft's "services."

In grade school in the early sixties it was a educational requirement of the curriculum to teach current events. We got a kids newspaper weekly called the "Weekly Reader." At the time it was the beginning of the space race, computers which were still punch card driven and magnetic tape, the realization of robots, automation, nuclear power, etc. I'm sure you get the "wonder" of the times they were pushing on us. What also came along with this was being told or maybe even prepared for the social changes that would come with all of this. We were being "sold" that our future, unlike our parents would involve universal, economic prosperity because of those "wonders." Society would have to reorganize to prepare for the abundance of "free time" people would have because of the coming efficiencies in labor requirements. The promises of less work for more pay and everyone benefitting from what was coming never happened.

I remember Highlights. Always went straight to the page with the "find it" hidden in the picture stuff. Use to see them in the DR.'s office.

It got fairly warm for November today. Probably upper 50's.

Didn't get much done though... I've had company almost the entire day. Last one just left.

EDIT: High today was 55. Felt warmer though....
