A guy in one of the departments brought me a PC that he deemed as "possible junk". I fired it up... it has an i7, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Intel MoBo, three 250GB hybrid drives, 3 HDMI outs, and it has Win 7 Enterprise. It has become my coding/testing PC, and I also use it to do HDD cloning.
EDIT: It has taken me a long time to arrive at this, but Windows 10.... although it has its quirks, it is a much better OS than I've given it credit for. It's got some things I don't care for, but overall - it's pretty solid.

It's such a goofy belt setup... you have to REALLY pry on the alternator to tighten the belt. I think it puts a lot of pressure on that pump, and it might be changing the sound to when the belt is on it. I ordered a new Gates pump for it tonight. Should be here Friday.

Isn't a turnbuckle like arm available to replace the alternator bracket?

Sounds like a new pump is a good idea to me.
Router question: My Asus RT-AC66U router started dropping and reconnecting devices with a high degree of incident, both wired and wireless. I performed a factory reset and modified only enough settings to get it back to functioning, with no improvement. I'm going to call Asus, but if I can't get the problem fixed, I'll be looking for a replacement. I'd like to stick with a budget of about $150. No gaming or high-load file transfers, just standard home use (internet surfing, Netflix, music streaming, video camera look-ins, etc.) and remote office use. I'm considering the RT-AC86U. Any other (better) options I should consider?
