Thinking
Yep, it was January 1978. MI got 2' of snow, south of us Indiana was over 30" in a day and a half. It was a blizzard, so 2' went to 6' in many areas pretty quick with the wind kicking. We were 10 miles from town with a party store somewhere in the middle. Mom and Dad had a couple JD 440 Liquifires, that were probably only a year or two old at the time... Us kids couldn't wait for mom and dad to go back to work so we could ride lol.
Anyway, they are calling for 9" here.
No kidding. I've dealt with some dudes on here before... but that guy makes them look like amateurs.
We got 5 or 6 inches Saturday into Sunday, Bear. Supposed to get nailed again tonight starting at 5pm, and all through tomorrow. It literally says snow on the "hourly" option until Wednesday at 9am on weather.com.
I hate late winters. But, I guess we REALLY need it, so I'll deal with it.

We got dumped on that year!- i cant imagine- BUT, you would have to think they learned something since then, at least they should have the resources now to keep on top of it.
We shall see...

We got around a foot up here in the Seattle area between Saturday and Sunday. Thank goodness it was on a 3 day weekend. Most people have no idea how to drive in the stuff since we rarely get more than an inch or 2 per year. Temps are up in the mid 30s today so it slush time. The '02 FX4 was was fun until this morning when it started running really rough under acceleration and the CEL popped on. Luckily I have another car and knew which routes had been plowed so I could still make it to work. I guess I have a project for this weekend.

! Ppppphhhttt!!! Keep your dang cold weather
