Thanks for the offer river but I double checked and the diameter of the mounting stud is .5" so I don't think those will work. Thanks again tho

No problem. I have some more from the Calmax shocks that came with the lowering kit but I'm not sure where they're at off the top. I'll be out in the garage later this afternoon and I'll see if I can find them. They were a universal kit with a large selection of options for washers and bushings. As I said I plan on living on the road by the spring and I have a lot to get rid of first or it's going to the scrap yard and that's a waste.

2100, I will dig in there tonight hopefully. I moved the washer and dryer out of the space that was blocking my stuff... now I gotta move a couch and a microwave, and I should be able to get to it, LOL.

This guy that is mudding told me he wanted 3 payments. One to start, one mid way, and one at the end. He's still going to be until Wednesday, and he wants me to pay him the last payment. Starting to get pissed. I was supposed to paint over this last weekend.

I know how that is, I've got a ton of stuff buried behind the highboy lol.

And good thing you've got everything in writing tho. Sucks he's being less than stellar.

He was supposed to be here at 4:30 and it is now 5:30, so I am wondering if he's going to bail on me. SOB.

Waiting on his *** gave me time to mount this though..... https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-5...JV55/306331186

Looking good Whitey.

I had Red out on a short run today and decided to go up Stuckagain Heights to get a picture. It got nice this afternoon and had lots of sun, so off I went. It is only 4 miles from my house on the east side of town, but it's like a wilderness compared to the city, lol. He looks so small in the wilderness, but is so tall next to a lot of 150s'. Hmm.

2100.... I must have used some of the shock kits on something. These are the 2 I have, and I'm not even sure if these are the right style. Also found a connecting rod while I was going through the stuff I can access right now.... and i found a connecting rod. Looks like some garage art to me.

AK: Your truck looks like a model in those photos. It's almost *too* good! Kind of like the scale train layouts that guys photograph like this one:

River: Yeah, I had it bass ackwards, I appreciate the link, and will check it out. In the meantime, though, I still don't see that adding 12" to the length of the section in front of the CG (that's likely already 10' or more) would dramatically change the downward force at the bumper. That goofy contriptionized mount likely *will* twist it off the mounting bolts, though.

Whitey: Now THAT's a VISE! I may just have to see if something like that is available with my employee discount. My 4" Craftsman has served me well, but there's been a number of times that it's just not quite big enough. As for your mudder, after the runaround you got in the beginning, I'd have been hesitant to use him at all, but I *definitely* wouldn't pay him that last installment until it's finished, and finished to your satisfaction.
