The problem getting it up on a trailer is just that.... getting it up on a trailer OR a dolly for that matter. It doesn't run, so, you know? LOL.

I used a come a long to get my Highboy on the trailer.
Also you've been warned about a tow dolly, your going to have to lie to rent one as well lol.
Only time I've seen trucks pulled, it was done via tow bar and behind a diesel pusher. That's allowed on e-way anyway.

Personally, I wouldn't do it any other way. Not to mention your truck is rated to pull that weight this way....or real close to it. Well, the 98 is anyway w/5four E40D/4R100.

Like I mentioned before, check your owners manual for limitations, it'll be in there. I don't have access to one right now or I'd tell yuh what your truck is good for. Hitch is only rated for 5000, but you'll be alright there for what your doing. Just have a good ball mount for it. Figure the trailer empty between 1900 - 2400 lbs.
Oh and make sure you load the truck nose first...or you'll be bitch slapping folks off the road lol. You most likley figured it out by now...finding the right trailer for rent might be tricky. You'll have to hit up place that sells them, find one parked in someones drive, -willing to rent it out or rental outfit in the area. Might take some work locating one. Cars or mid-size trucks are easy, more options...full size truck, not so much.

It's my morning laugh show. Just going there, watching the crap spew out, then go hammer them for the stupidity. Welcome to my mornings. LOL

Alright guys need opinions... needing to replace an ignition coil on my sisters 05 escape v6. Auto zone is $80/cop for Duralast and amazon only is selling stuff that's $12/cop. Are the escapes as picky as our trucks? Or what's a decent brand? She's working off a high school grocery cashier budget.
