I've seen Makuloco use a regular socket on a 3V though....So what you are saying it probably possible if I have a socket that big, LOL.

Yep that's it lol. Didn't realize they had keyed sockets for that.

This is the one I got for the new motor.... It does all of the SBF's and Cleveland based motors.

For the record, the socket I got for Modulars can also be used on SBC's and V6 Chevy's.

Huh , yea Makuloco was using a 32 mm and he mentioned it fits the hub nuts as well lol.

So they are larger on the older SBF's...35mm ? They didn't mention a size at the link, just 3/8 drive.

So there's a handle version vs a driver version, you went for the driver type. You must have the ability to lock the handle version eh.

I just use a flex handle ratchet to turn it. I didn't see the handled version. Hmmmm.....
