Yeah, but it's a Cobra! Well... It has a Cobra grille insert. That's worth $7K, right?

White, looks like you live in the definition of rural America.

I had a part time job in high school working for fire departments doing controlled burns along tracks in urban areas. I can't imagine what it would be like where you're at.

Hey JP how are you doing over there with Dorian? Is it going to affect you where you are?

I always though the inserts looked like *****. If I was going to do it, I would get the whole cover.

It is a GT "Premium" though, lol. Whatever that made up crap is.

It's a rural area.... but very close to SLC. Where my house is qualifies it for a USDA loan, which I would have done if the interest rates were lower on it. Conventional was much lower at the time.

Our FD is all volunteer. A lot of agencies throughout the state are responding to this fire now though.

Some of the Fire Departments we worked for were both full time and volunteer at the time in the early 70's. The biggest concern at the time wasn't so much the vegetation like you're dealing with. At that time the tracks were used as the local dumps and that was what they were concerned about getting lit up. Particularly tires, they were everywhere.

There is a track that goes right through there. When I was on my way home on Tuesday, they had stopped the train (Rio Grande) and were not allowing it to get through.

The train has started 2 fires within a mile or so of the area that is burning now (Green Ravine). My Buddy just sent me a pic from up top (he is up there right now as I type this) and it looks like it has calmed down a lot today.

Same here, White.

We've had a fairly wet summer here which lowered our risk significantly, so there's been nothing major as there was in years past. Thankful for that.

I added an insert when I had my '87 LX redone, but had the body shop mold it in so it looked like a single piece. It turned out . (Yes, I still miss that car.)

Some dummy must have removed the logos. The "GT Premium" came with these under the 5.0's. These are repro's of course, since NOS OEM ones fetch about $650 each, and that's IF you can find them.
