I use EaseUS's data recovery wizard to recover data, or if you are wanting to test the disk surface, their partition master does it too.
I don't care for their cloning software, but those two aforementioned programs are top notch.
Oh, and the sell price is actually pretty decent. I've seen those going for more than that.... but it looks pretty stock. I am going to insure mine to 12 grand through Haggerty. I like the fact you can name your price through them, because it is always worth more to you than anyone else.

Just a quick reminder to always check the stability before climbing under cars at the wrecking yard. This happened here today.....

They'll let *you* set the value on an agreed-value policy? I've seen that for stated-value policies (you can tell them it's worth anything you want, but it's up to you to prove it if/when there's a claim), but not agreed. I got stung with a stated-value policy when I totalled my '87.

Me too.
I don't mind helping people out, but when you can't look up one damn thing on your own, I'm out....

I took the HD out of my WD MyCloud (NAS) and used one of these to hook it into my laptop to scan it. If you have a desktop handy, you can plug it directly into that if you have space.

Just did a chat with one of their agents.... here are the nuts and bolts of the conversation.... I cut all of the little small talk, lol.

So yes, they will review it and see if they feel it is worth that much. I don't think I will have a problem though.... I want 10K - 12K on it. Looking at what some of them are going for, I think it's about right.
I am looking to insure my 89 Mustang GT with a company that specializes in classics. My question is about the agreed value. What needs to be done there? Do I need an appraisal, or is it what I believe its market value is?
We do not need an appraisal through our program, Hagerty actually has a very in-depth valuation research team that pinpoints estimated market values based on private sales, auctions and other data to help us determine a correct market value for vehicles.
My current insurance says they'd give me pretty much "whatever" if I were to wreck it, and that won't replace it, guaranteed.
That tends to be how most regular insurance companies treat classics. We offer a Guaranteed value for your vehicle, so once your policy is issued with the value set on it by you, and agreed to by our underwriters, if there was a total loss, we'd provide you a check for the value listed on your declarations page. We don't count things like wear and tear into the claims payout either.
a friend of mine told me that you also cover spare parts that I have collected over the years. I have interior pieces, speedometers, etc. that is hard to find - so I have accumulated some of this stuff over the years.
Yes! There are options for spare parts coverage that would cover things for your Mustang that you've collected. It protects them against things like fire, theft, vandalism and natural disaster. We can also cover tools that you use to repair and restore your vehicle in a similar fashion, which tends to be a bit better than what you might get from your homeowners coverage in a lot of cases.
One more question. I have a motor that I have built for it, but I am about a month out on installing it. Should I do the policy after that, or before? It runs and drives great right now, I just wanted to freshen things up a bit.
You can get the policy today, and then when you've installed the new engine, give us a call and we can increase the value as appropriate for the new engine.
