3 screws hold the filler neck. 6 bolts in the bed and the plug by the spare tire and the tag light. that is it. My truck has spent it's life in FL so no rust to deal with.

I don't flush the tank. Never have on any vehicle.

Probably need to on the Fox though.

The damn Toyota started giving me fits on the way to work this morning. It was doing just fine at 85 mph down I-80, then I went to pass someone. I got to 90, and the CEL started flashing and it made me go back down to 80 mph and quit flashing. A few miles later, I got it to 90 with no issues - but I was able to repeat the CEL flashing 2 more times right after.

Don't know much about the little thing.... I hope it's not what I think it is. Transmission. It has been shifting weird lately.

EDIT: Borrowed my Buddy's Blue Driver. I could not feel a miss at all.... I thought it would be rather noticeable on a 4 cylinder. BUT, here it is.... cylinder 2 misfire.

@Buck0

Do you use Gmail at your employer? Gmail was running 15 minutes slow yesterday, and today Google Calendar is down. Lots of business professionals use Google Calendar - lots of unhappy's today!!

By the way, all of you fellers.... this is one of my favorite new sites. It keeps an eye on a lot of the major sites (ebay, amazon, gmail, FB, etc.) and lets users report issues they are experiencing....

I had it quite some time ago, but I got sick of their crap popping up all the time so I disabled it. You'll have to let me know if it is still annoying, LOL.

I might give it a shot just to see how it goes. I could always delete it like you did if it really is terrible.

That's like mandatory lol. Do this next time you swap out a pump. Run your hand inside the tank, just a small area is all it will take. If the tank is still wet, your hand will be peppered with sand grains. If the tank had a little time to dry, your hand will have a small pile of sand in it. Yea they get incredibly dirty inside, specially around the in tank filter. The filter is only good for so many microns (fines). This is just one other reason you pull the tank vs bed....theres more lol. For a quick flush, flush through #1 and 2 vent ports, forcing foreign matter through pump hole before install. Upside down on saw horses...quickest way.
