Anytime I get those messages I just assume one of my kids broke the wifi again somehow.

Good news. Heard from the hospital and my sister does not have the Covid virus. She was retested with a more comprehensive test and the first test was a false positive which happens about 15% of the time.

 

P0022 FORD Possible Causes

• Variable Camshaft Timing solenoid stuck open
• Continuous oil flow to the Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) piston chamber
• Erratic camshaft position due to low oil pressure
• Oil flow restriction in the oil passages or the VCT valve body
• Faulty Variable Camshaft Timing
• Variable Camshaft Timing harness is open or shorted
• Variable Camshaft Timing circuit poor electrical connection
• Damaged camshaft position (CMP) sensor
• Open or short in the CMP sensor circuits
• Radio frequency interference (RFI) interference

It's the last possible cause that has gotten my interest. Been seeing it more and more. There was a recent post from someone about every time he pulls into a particular gas station his engine shuts off nd won't restart. I first heard about this a couple of years ago for gas stations that are also truck stops. So much now is done by wifi and radio between the trucks and the gas stations that it's effecting the car electronics. When I first heard about this the thought was it was effected the engine auto start\stop but it's been growing from just that as this shows. But it's also darn near impossible to find any info on this online. Anyone else come across this?
