I thought about adding that scoop to my '87. I always wondered what it would look like if it was put on backward. Would you mind setting it on your hood both ways and take a couple pics?

EDIT: I also thought about adding on to my'95 at one point, but not sure I'd like it. I rather like my stock-ish look.

I am actually planning on putting it on backwards. I think they look better that way. My Buddy had one on his 88 that looked great!

I just realized that I left the damn stud at home that I need. It is missing one of the studs, so I was going to go visit my little fastener shop today. CRAP!

This is a 93 GT that my Buddy's Dad used to own. He had an 82 GT scoop on it, going the right way, LOL... His Dad is the guy that I wanted to paint my 89 (but he was too busy at the time).... as you can see, he does good work, although the new owner messed up the front bumper cover somehow and replaced it.

Worked at plastic factory sweeping floors part time while in high school. They made those scoops there. Quite a few didn't make the cut and thrown in the dumpster. After a few weeks, I noticed those scoops mounted to various trucks and cars in the school parking lot.... garbage pickers lol. Bet I could of sold them if I thought of it lol.

LOL, that's funny! Too bad we can't travel back in time.

The part number is a 1979 part number. So you were sweeping floors in 79-82ish, eh? You came a long way.

Ohio... I've tried for the life of me to try and find some old pics of the 88 LX with the scoop reversed. It actually follows the lines of the cowl really nicely.

I think I am going to paint this thing semi-gloss black though.... It was plasti-dipped when I got it, but I peeled it off because it had some small tears in it.

*** Of course, my plans COULD be altered if the intake sits further out of the hood than I am expecting!

You r right Whitey. The Fox bodies look great w the reversed scoop mounting. This is as close as I could find for a picture myself.

That is very sexy. As you can see, it follows the cowl almost perfectly. Looking at this pic, I think I can clear that with the Tree Fiddy One. Thanks for finding the pic, AK!

Now that I have this scoop, I believe that all I am going to do is use convertible motor mounts and drop the sway bar with SN95 mounts.

I was thinking about doing K-Member spacers, but that looks like a huge PITA for 1/2" of clearance.
