I don't think it's delaminating because I can see the wipers affecting the blurryness.
I never thought about using a claybar on the windshield:

Sprayway glass cleaner is the best glass cleaner you'll find. I started using this when I used to deliver windshields and I noticed this was what every shop was using. Safelite's can of glass cleaner IS this stuff, re-branded. Just don't use it (or any other glass cleaner) in the sun, or you'll never get it clean.

I'd say Stoner and Sprayway run neck and neck.

When the windshield is doing this push on one of the spots with a finger. If that moves or changes the spot it's delamination.

My wife looked at me funny when I started outside with the vacuum cleaner, then just shook her head and went .

I told her, "I might be *sleeping* back there tonight!"

Interesting on the clay bar. If I can get it clean then I'll put that much effort into it lol.

I'll give that sprayway a shot

And next time it does it I'll double check the delaminating

If you see a Safelite guy driving around... ask him for a can. Same stuff. Or, HD usually has these small cans for a buck.

I got a couple o' things for Fathers Day.... got me a trans/axle jack... didn't get the engine leveler for FD, but I'll be putting it to sue pretty soon. A bunch of guys in the Mustang group I am in are putting their motor and trans in together using these things.

So when I put the balancer on the 351, I noticed that the balancer was not sucking in all the way. It's about 2mm from being flush with the crank snout. I was worried at first... but then I grabbed the old balancer and noticed that when the PO had put black RTV on it, the RTV had created a little "washer" between the snout and washer, so in other words it was not flush either. At the point, I disregarded it...... BUT, now I am reading and seeing mixed opinions on whether or not it should be flush. I am wondering if either the PO got a new bolt that was too long, or I need to get this thing machined. Or is it fine? What do you guys think?
