Nope. It doesn't change the MAF environment so there is no adjustment in tuning needed.

I just did this to my '08, it is very easy. I recommend a 3" to 3" rubber coupling and a section of 3" sewer pvc pipe (thin wall so it fits in the fender hole without sanding, etc) that I got at Lowes. The 4" to 3" reducer isn't necessary, since you can just remove the flexible accordian piece of the stock intake and then you are connecting 3" to 3". It looks cleaner that way in my opinion.

.

I noticed that when starting the trunk I can hear the pipe clunk for a second when it moves, so I am going to find a way to put a little bit of rubber around it as a pad against the fender.

I just used a regular PVC pipe and used a metal finishing disc on a grinder to get it to shape/size quickly. I get no rattling.

I used the same flexible pipe from the stock intake, just got the 3" PVC and sanded it down, put it in there and put the hose clamp thing on it. Worked great. Tis is it before I painted it.

I did mine the same way, check my post 2 pages back. I also added an extra internal part.

I did this awhile ago. Noticed today my filter housing had a lot of leaves in it, maybe normal? Wondering if I did it right. How far does the pipe go in the fender well? Is there a diverter in the fender that diverts air to the pipe? My pipe is flush with the inside fender well. Any thoughts?
