My local hardware didn't have them. Question is my intake supposed to have holes drilled in it?

Just got done with the gotts mod. I used 3" Pvc schedule 40. And a 3"x3" rubber coupler.

I have less than $10.00 into it.

Are the holes in the underside to drain any water? my guess.

No offense but isn't the bellows part supposed to let the motor torque when revving?

If the coupler doesn't stretch wouldn't the 3" tube pull out of the fender?

Not trying to rain on your parade, just asking.

Good luck with the mod.
Let's hear about how it works out for you.

The intake box shouldn't torque with the motor. The intake tube should give enough.

Between the plastic intake tube and the rubber coupler I believe that it should have enough give. When I put the pvc in to the fire wall I made it very tight and I jammed it in. I have only put about 15 miles on it since the mod, so far so good. I will keep you posted on how it holds up.

I wasn't sure about the holes maybe for water to drain out not sure. Does anyone know if there's has the holes? I am just wondering if the previous owner did it or if it came from Ford like that.
