Doesn't do a thing. No sound nothing. This kit is what I have and there's no change in sound over gotta mod with silencer removed or stock

Just a follow up...

Digging the new sound at wide open... Idle seems smoother too...

I did have a squeak start today due to bumps and vibrations. I took it apart and it was from the paint on the pipe where the rubber fitting sits. I guess the paint was sticky and squeaky. Cleaned the paint off the pipe and fitting in that area and now it's quiet again. I painted the whole pipe when I first did this mod but I recommend painting only the part of pipe that doesn't go into the fitting...

I just did mine. I used 11" of 3" PVC pipe and a 3" to 3" coupler. The pipe was $7 for a 2ft price and the coupler was $4 at lowes. It was pretty easy to sand the pipe down to fit in the hole. The hole is more of an oval shape then round, so you really only have to sand the top and bottom of the tube. It took about a minute with an angle grinder. I haven't painted It yet but will probably pull it back off and paint it and let it dry over night. I think it might be a little louder and might have a little more throttle response but its not a huge difference by any means.

Just curious how far into the fender everyone is sticking the pipe? I noticed there is a second inner hole as well. I put mine through inner fender hole and almost to the backside of the painted fender. My concern is if I'm almost touching the backside of the finished fender am I chocking off air flow into the pipe? I have about a half inch gap from the pipe to the fender...
