I did the gotts mod on my 08 4.6l. Made the exhaust sound a little throatier and better throttle response. I haven't noticed any down sides been running it for 2 tanks or 1 1/2 months.

i did the gotts mod about 2 weeks agoall was fine till today... i had to pull my battery out to change my vacume box then wen i drove to work it stalled out twice at a stop light then again at a couple stop signs.. is this happening because i pulled the battery and the computer reset for the extra air flow? any input???????

Default Loss of low end Power with Gott's Mod

I followed the same method using 3" Sch. 40. Unhooked the negative battery cable. Did the job in about 25 minutes which was nice. Took it out and she just doesn't seem to have that low end go anymore. Not sure if I did something wrong or what. Any Ideas Guys?????
To make matters worse, I blew my driver side HID foglight when re-connecting the battery cable.

It's perception and the PCM relearning the curves. Bill from PHP says it's not necessary to unhook the neg cable because the MAF is still in place and can easily adjust.

The gotts mod keeps it a cold air intake but just increases the amount of air

Just an update.. I've driven the Ford for a couple days after doing the Gott's Mod and have to admit, it does seem to breathe a heck of a lot easier, especially under moderate to full throttle and the throttle response is noticeably better. All hail Gott!

I just finished doing the gotts mod. Here are a couple quick pics of how it turned out. I'll update later with my results.
