I just finished with mine tonight. Took less time than I thought it would. I cant wait to check the difference. Thanks guys. My only question is can you insert the tube too far into the fender wall and esentually be choking off the engine that way?

Hell yea it did. I would have never thought about this had I not read the thread. My question is is it possible to have it pushed too far in tho?

well i guess to some degree but i just reached thru the pvc tube to make sure i
weberl: cleared that inner metal lip and felt to see how flush it was if it stuck past i pulled it back a little, if it wasn't far enough i pushed it in a bit harder or tappered it a bit more. did you spend most of your time testing and tappering the pvc

so the jury is in - after two weeks and 750 miles of driving i am averaging 20.1 mpg highway and 17.8 city

It actually only took me bout 30 min. I used a metal grinder on the pvc and got lucky it fit snugly after the second try.

ok, so I did this on my 05. I can definitely feel a difference in throttle response. Should I see better Gas mileage?
