Hard to carry concealed in Florida, no clothes to hide it under, and even printing is illegal.
If you're going to carry...carry. Leaving it in your car is as pointless as leaving it at home. Only at home, it'll be more secure. I'll assume you have a safe too. Cars get broken into all the time. Especially pickups. My favorite are the pickups with "Sig" or "Glock" stickers. There are thieves who specifically break into trucks because that's typically who own guns. At least get a lockbox and make them work for it.
As to your other point, it's not hard to carry in FL. If you can resign yourself to not running around shirtless, you'll have clothes to hide it under. I've carried daily in a tshirt for over 10 years. I don't wear baggy shirts or button down Hawaiian shirts either. A decent holster and respectable carry pistol shouldn't be an issue. Oh, and printing is not illegal. Not sure what statutes you're reading.

Default Best place to conceal a handgun in 2018 F150 with center console

It doesnt have to be in the console, just need to have quick access to it. Its a compact 9mm...
I have a conceal permit here in OR but am looking for another location other than on my body..
Any ideas?
12-24 ADD ON here...I'm hoping for a really unique idea here that someone smarter than me has already discovered...ie, a custom compartment behind a dash, console panel...maybe inside a cushion...somewhere the bad guys would not think about looking in their haste to steal stuff IF...they broke in....

Some 3m double sided tape will also work on the inside console if you don't want to drill any holes to mount that magnetic holder.

Screw a gunmagnet to the inside of the console (or anywhere) and unholster it from your carry holster and let the magnet do the job. When you get out, the weapon pops off the magnet (again, specific GUNMAGNET) and reholster.

The magnet idea is perfect. I need one for my house for sure, and maybe one for the truck, but drilling is a non-starter for me at both places. And that link is a 3-PIECE set, so you just can't use double-sided tape, or you'd be only taping the rear plate. Will look for something that can be adhered. Thank you for that idea Jamie75.

And when a scumbag busts the window and goes through your vehicle, where's the first place he looks? Bang, the center console.

Either carry your weapon on your body where it belongs, or lock it up in a secure vault.

I have mine on the bottom of the door, but I'm sure they'd look there too. Ha ha. Although I covered it with a black towel, so looks like there's nothing there, probably making that location a bit safer than the center console. I might be inviting a break-in because I always leave my V1 installed under the mirror, but also always put the sunshield on, so only visible if you look for it (no cables). From now on, I'll probably remove both the gun and detector when I travel, knowing how easy is to break into the truck. Having said that, I rarely leave the truck unattended, so when the alarm goes off, the thief better be gone
