I've thought about getting a holster for the truck, but I haven't found one that I like yet. These magnets are STRONG Stronger than I anticipated. I feel perfectly safe using it with my Springfield XD(m) because it has 2 passive safeties and most of the time I leave it in my concealed carry holster. Only during a long drive would I see myself using the magnet under the seat. I made sure I could get a good safe grip on the pistol before I finally drilled the holes and mounted it there.

Did you add the Velcro to the Holster, I looked at them but did not see the Velcro?

Ok.. Here is a picture of my gun safe. I keep it tucked under my seat... pull it out, when I need to use it.

What all do you keep in your green pouch under the holster? I see the knife and flashlight.

This magnetic mount is a decent low profile option

The only issue I see with many of these firearm mounting locations is the visibility problem. In this present climate of people being scared by anything and everything, especially things that go "Bang" a firearm being seen can initiate a phone call and all the stupid problems that can follow. I used to be a bit paranoid about leaving a firearm in a vehicle, but over time I decided that having it in the vehicle is better than having it at home! Hard to carry concealed in Florida, no clothes to hide it under, and even printing is illegal. I don't share my location, but it can't be seen unless it is looked for.
