I got tired of reading dozens of pages of Canada vs. America, and anti-gun rants.

I'm looking for a way to mount a handgun either next to the driver seat (2013) or along that black panel on the console area, to the right of your right knee.
That's exactly what I just did. I open my console, and its pitched and located perfectly for retrieval. And I still have the entire console to use.

Nice, but what does it look like on the outside of the console? Are the bolts/screws exposed?
Pics?

No self respecting craftsmen would do sloppy work. I disassembled most of the console, leaving only the inner tub intact. Only took 10mins to take apart. The pic you see of the three screws is the outside of the tub between the console and the drivers seat. Once installed, you reassemble the console and you never see the screws. Clean work is worth the extra time to do it.

Mine sits in the cupholder, I want it handy if some crackhead decides to make the fatal mistake of trying to car jack me.

The US's demographics are far different than Canada as well. Our socieity has a much larger part of the issue in total. It's not spoken about because people have the potental to have their feelings hurt. The FBI uniform crime reports are a great source of factual information with an eminice amount of data that represents the real issues without the rhetoric.

I've got one of these setups -> http://www.gumcreekcustoms.com/splash-page.html I'm transfering to my new F150 when it arrives in a couple weeks.

Default Blackhawk Serpa Center Console Mount

Here's a few pics of how I mounted the Blackhawk Serpa on the back panel of the center console in my 2013 FX4.

I'm left-handed, but ordered a right-handed holster, too...just to see how it worked.

Mounting requires removing the console lid, lifting up the top trim piece and removing the rear vent panel.

Default Long Gun Mount and Fold Down Seat Back Solution

We're working on a solution to do two things:

1) Easily fold down the Screw seat backs

2) Mount and lock long guns in the space behind the seats

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Seats are easy to get down one you figure it out but there isn't much room back there. Id like to see how you Mount them so they don't get damaged.
