I can see they updates several modules. That message indicates whatever they were trying to accomplish with the module updates was not done, so they did a master reset of the system which is why you're truck is no longer connected to Fordpass and why you got that message.
What I am wondering is if they brought it completely up to day as they said, or just enough to feel confident that OTA updates would run and eventually get me fully updated.
Or do I need to throw in the towel and Mongoose it?

Does anyone know if the 2024 models have an updated edition of cluster screen (hardware) or a new software update that updates the look of the cluster? Definitely different from the earlier ones. Some photos of the 2024 model’s clusters:

How did you respond? Did you ask him to give you a copy of the update log such as displayed in post 6931 above?
I told him that I could tell right away it wasn't up to date because I didn't have full screen on android auto. RUGEDRAW has been looking into it the last 2 yrs and basically said my system is f*cked. Best chance of getting it back is to do a GWM and APIM replacement. I have strong wifi at house and a 5G 3-4 bar signal. I did not get an update sheet like you referenced. I'm going to email manager and have him print one out for me. I go down the road and the sync screen blacks out and the radio cuts out for a few seconds which kinda tells me there's a communication problem somewhere. On my screen it says it's up to date no updates needed but thats not correct.

Yes, when it says you are up to date, I believe that just means nothing is in your OTA update queue pending. It doesn't mean your system has all of the updates needed to bring you current as you are so painfully seeing. I was there a while back with my 2021 Job 1 truck (it sat at the dealer for a total of about 3 months over 3-4 visits), but luckily with a Mongoose and the awesome help of the gurus on here, I have been fully up to date for about 2 months. Good luck with getting your truck situated.

Yeah, I'm on the waiting list to rent the mongoose, hopefully that will work.
