You can wait a few days to see if your truck syncs up with Ford's servers and the subscription starts. If that does not work, you can take it back.
I just got a notification it upgraded to 4.2.4. Still don’t quite understand the difference between Power-Up and Sync, but we’ll wait and see what happens. Thank you for your help!
i can't tell for sure... but it's been failing since possibly 8/26 (i can't tell for sure if that's the date for this version as the message center in ford pass doesn't say the version number that failed on the past messages).
i believe the truck always says it's on step 2... which i think means it dl'd but hasn't installed?
the truck is set to retry installs on a daily schedule... and it never works.
Is this something i have to take to a dealer to get to complete... or can some form of ford tech support get me through?

It is most likely failing due to low battery SOC as has happened to many others. You need a battery charger.
tx. just found the other thread. if you charge the truck. leave it on charger, then kill electrics inside and lock the truck and let the schedule run... should that work? if resetting the bms, do you do that before or after charging? and if you charge it... is a bms required? tx
I went 9 months without an update and noticed my auto start/stop wasn't working anymore. So I simply reset the BMS and that night I got an update. Went another 2 weeks and then the auto start/stop stopped working again, reset the BMS and boom, another update came through that night. 2 weeks go by and the same thing, reset BMS and got another update that night.
I think I will get the battery tested at a local shop and see if it is the issue causing it, but obviously the BMS resets are allowing the updates to think my battery is good enough for them to be installed.

Honestly, I'm not sure if resetting the BMS before or after is the better way to go. All this is just to help the update go through. I have checked trucks that the battery SOC was over 90% and it was still failing sue to low SOC.
I just got 4.3.6 today. From what I've read, the 4.3.6 for the Mach-E is for BlueCruise. Mine says it's for Picture-in-Picture capability to the Trailer Reverse Guidance feature, it did add another tab in my camera button saying "For trailers only". It also updated my Sync to 23167 Rev 926.
Yes, it was first reported in gen14f150 forum yesterday. It's an APIM update and it also serves as a fix for the trucks that the rear camera(s) in motion feature was broken by a previous OTA.
