My 2021 F150 has been acting weird lately, going into deep sleep mode, failing updates (back in November/December), ford pass app not letting me lock or unlock my doors from the app, and screen saying it’s going into battery save mode. Put charger on truck for a couple days with no change.
can someone check my VIN for me and see if there is a problem with updates to my truck.

VIN is 1FTFW1E86MFA63605

Get your battery tested and/or replaced!

I talked to them yesterday, and apparently it sounds like there was some sort of issue with a wire somewhere they think was the culprit. Since then, it sounds like they fixed the APIM, and are installing updates. I can see from the Fordpass site that the truck has Sync version 22192 now, when it had been stuck on 21136 pretty much since I got this thing a year and a half ago. Hopefully they'll have it ready for me by the end of the day today.

VIN is 1FTFW1E56MFC62112 if someone wants to tell me if they can see what's been done to it over the last couple of days.
I can see they updated your APIM and you are on Sync 22192 which is the second latest version; 22293 would be the most recent. They had issues updating your GWM yesterday, but were able to get it updated today.

Your truck is not recording any DTC for low battery voltage. Based on your Sync version, there is nothing wrong with your truck as far as getting OTA's go. The problem is Ford's OTA process is garbage.

Have your dealer perform a battery test and reset your BMS to see if that helps with the deep sleep issue.

Any idea why they'd not update it to the latest version?

Because for does not pay them to update modules and it takes hours to do the updates. In your case, you got lucky. I checked again and they performed another update to get you to Sync 22294 which means you now have full screen carplay/AA. I see the opened the TCU update that pops up after that APIM update, but they didn't do it (unless it is in process of being done as I type this). If they do, then you will get your truck back with the equivalent of 3.5.4 and you'll be fully up to date as far as Power Up updates go. 3.5.4 gives you dual phone bluetooth connectivity which most people don't care about, but at the very least, you will have full screen capability when you get your truck back.

Got it back, have Alexa and AA full screen. Im psyched!

Was pretty upset with my dealership initially, but I think they must have had a new or lazy tech working on it the first time around. They came through in the end though.

Last weekend I got all of my updates installed manually thanks to some super helpful folks on the forum here (and getting all the equipment/software, of course) - but I still see the "Update scheduled" in my FordPass app that's been stuck there since December 2022. I know for 100% sure there were no more available updates via FDRS as of Monday; does anyone have experience knowing how long it takes for FordPass to catch up to my newly current status? I'd love to start actually getting OTA updates again.

WHat your Fordpass app says means nothing as far as whether you get OTA's or not. You're good to go.
