I'm pretty sure that letter would start me on the way to the lemon law lawyer . But I'll probably be getting a similar.response soon from the dealer.

 

I don't think a lemon law would apply in this case. Because of the fact it is a wide spread issue and ford is working on a fix. I'm very fortunate that I am not having, any of the extreme issues that others are experiencing here on this forum.

Now I have a question for the people, who have had there software updated with out issue. Where do you park your truck, do you park out side, or do you park inside? Another question doors locked or unlocked?

 

I park inside the garage with door usually unlocked.

 

So did your truck have the power up software update installed successfully?

 

How would I go about getting updates overseas? I don't have the FordPass Connect as no ATT network. The system is connected to my phone hotspot, but I don't think it ever pulled any updates. When going to apps it just says none available in your region. The Nav shows the arrow, but no map. So basically, all of the features rely on the ATT network stateside and a phone's hotspot cannot be used?

 

Yes, I’ve now received 4 or 5 different updates. I did have an issue with the cameras which TSB 21-2249 had to be fixed by the dealer. Was still not getting updates until I got Forscan hooked up and cleared some DTCs. 4-5 hours later I received the first PowerUp and they haven’t stopped since.
